The typical scenario structure

To experience different real life challenges our participants will train various scenarios during our simulator training.
A typical scenario structure includes the following steps:

Briefing and understanding shared near misses or incidents

Distributing bridge team responsibilities

Comprehending the development of a given situation

Formation and initiation of an action plan

Motivating the team, taking all input and making a calculated decision being aware of the environment

Reflecting results as lessons learned

Voyage optimization and its proper (de-)briefing (for experienced seafarers only)

On your way to excellence: Recalling and reflecting the four steps to establish a voyage plan before departure and confirm that the plan ensures a safe voyage and arrival at the destination with no problems; Encouraging to overcome short cuts and provide framework and consistency to a clear planning incl.
